A Writers Pastor…?

Maybe you need one!

Recently I was helping a fellow writer with a project that hit a wall. They had several project and all seemed to pile up like a train going off the tracks. We drop notes to each other in casual way until they asked for help with the road block.

We exchanged emails, a couple of phone calls and an amazing thing happened. What seemed to be a road block became a wonderful opportunity the change lives and impact our world with a positive message.

At the end of that exchange I was surprised by these words, “You are a wonderful Pastor to writers. Unlike other Pastors you understand the artist heart.”

I have been thinking about those words and others have said similar things to me as well. I am often a frustrated writer myself and I know what writers block feels like. Only recently I have a taken a project off the shelf and looked at with fresh eyes. But that is what we need to get us unstuck with our marketing and writing. We need that give and take of a “coach” or “pastor” who asks questions rather than give answers. A good coach/pastor can help us see our projects with new eyes.

Because I am grateful for being able to move forward with my project, I know what it means to find a person who can get you going again. I want to return the favor to others, so if you are stuck, and need a Writers Pastor, send me an email. We’ll talk…
